Balanced KPI's

Q  How do I keep track of and use Key Performance Indicators to grow accountability in my business?

A  KPI's can be organized, balanced and grouped (like gauges in a dashboard) so that they display the company's level of performance against a standard or acceptable range. Although your company's dashboard will be unique to your business, common gauge clusters track these groups of performance indicators:

1. Sales Activity & Revenue

2. Banking & Financial

3. Production & Operations

4. Administration & Human Resources

It may be easy to improve in one area only to see another area of your business falter. Maintaining your company's Balanced Scorecard (KPI relationships in balance) and Business Dashboard (graphic representation of balanced KPI's) are only two of several communication devices designed for improving managerial control across enterprise systems.
