| | It has been a great experience working with your staff. We spent 20 working days looking at this business at a level of detail I wouldn't have believed possible and found them to very professional.
In the past 3 weeks Stephen Tillotson did an outstanding job of developing and implementing many procedures to the satisfaction of not only myself, but also our staff had many good comments on the new processes. On the organizational side we developed and implemented key Position Guides, a Performance Evaluation procedure and an Employee Incentive Plan. Our financial reporting was restructured to allow us to view our profit picture more clearly. This included a Master Budget spreadsheet from which we developed a Break Even Analysis procedure and many Key Performance Indicators. Once this was done the bulk of our time was spent developing sales policies, procedures, reports and a commisssion plan for sales associates.
This is a brief summary of what was accomplished in a very short period of time. There were many other learnings along the way that will be with us for a long time to come. I am confident that in the short term, our investment...will provide us with a very good return. In the long term, the succession plan will be completed and the business will run better than ever.
